Vintage faux background

I was given this paper to create something with.  I wanted to take some bright colored paper and transform it into a vintage wallpaper.  The first step was to emboss it with an embossing folder, I then swiped some distress ink in pink over it and covered it with clear embossing powder.  After heat setting I used some distress ink in walnut stain and darkened it.  When you feel this it remind me of the tin ceiling tiles or the embossed wallpapers of yesteryears.
I have this card on display at our local scrapbook store:  Scrapbook101 and have entered it in the challenge at Gingersnap Creations
